ua' Khatmul Quran


This is a dua to be recited on the completion of the recitation of the Holy Quran.

Esta súplica se debe recitar al completar la recitación del Sagrado Corán.



Allah, the Most High, the Most Great has spoken the truth.
Allah, el más alto, el Más grande que ha dicho la verdad.
And His noble Messenger has spoken the truth.
Y su noble Mensajero ha manifestado la verdad.
And we are witnesses to that.
Y somos testigos de eso.
O our Lord, accept from us for verily you are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Oh Dios, acepta de nosotros verdadero que tu eres Quien Todp lo oye, Quien todo lo sabe.
O Allah, grant us with every harf (letter) of the Quran halawah (sweetness)
Oh Dios, otorganos con cad letra del Corán, dulzura
and with every Juz (part) of the Quran jazaa (reward)
y con cada parte del Corán recompensa.

O Allah, grant us with (the recitación of every) alif ulfah (love), Oh, Allah,otorganos con cada recitacion de cada alif, ulfa, amor
and with baa barakah (blessing), con el bah, barakah, bendiciones,
and with taa tawbah (repentance), con el tah, taubah, arrepentimiento
and with thaa thawaab (reward), con el za, zauab, recompensa
and with jeem jamaal (beauty), con el yim,yamal, belleza
and with haa hikmah (wisdom), con el ha, hikmat, sabiduría
and with khaa khair (goodness), con el ja, jair,bondad
and with daal daleel (proof), con el dal, prueba
and with dhaal dhakaa (intelligence), con zhal, zaka, inteligencia
and with raa rahmah (mercy), con el ra, rahma,misericordia
and with zaa zakaah (purity), conel za, zaka,pureza
and with seen sa'aadah (happiness), con el sin, saadah, felicidad
and with sheen shifaa' (cure), con el shin, shifá, curación
and with saad sidq (sincerity), con el sad, sidq, sinceridad
and with daad diyaa' (light), con el dad, diya, luz
and with taa taraawah (tenderness), con el ta, tarauah, ternura
and with zaa zafar (victory), con el za, zafar, victoria
and with 'ain 'ilm (knowledge), con el ain, ilm,conocimiento
and with ghain ghinaa (wealth), con el gain, guina, riqueza
and with faa falaah (success), con el fa, falaah, éxito
and with qaaf qurbah (nearness), con el qaf,qurba, cercanía
and with kaaf karamah (nobility), con el kaf, karamah, nobleza
and with laam lutf (gentleness), con el lam, lutf, gentileza
and with meem maw'izah (exhortation), con el mim, emauizah, exhortación
and with nun noor (light), con el nun, mur,luz
and with waaw wuslah (connection), con el uau,uslah,conexión
and with haa hidayah (guidance), con el ha, hidaiah, guía
and with yaa yaqeen (certainty),con el ia, iaquin, certeza

O Allah, benefit us with the the great Quran.
Oh Dios, benefícianos con el grandioso Corán.
And raise us with the ayat and the wise Remembrance.
Y alcanzanos con las aleyas y la inteligente recordación.
And accept from us our recitation and overlook our mistakes and our forgetfulness and our inattentiveness in changing words from their (correct) places or advancing or delaying or adding or subtracting or interpretation (according to) other than what
You have revealed.
Y acepta de nosotros nuestra recitación y tolera nuestras faltas y nuestros olvidos y nuestra inactividad en cambiar de su lugar correcto, o avanzar o retroceder o agregar o restar u otra interpretación de lo que Tú has revelado.

Or doubt or uncertainty or bad adaa' () or hurrying whilst reciting the Quran or laziness or hastiness or a swerving tongue.
O duda o inseguridad o mala idea o ........en la recitación del Corán o ......

Or stopping without wuquf or idghaam without mudgham or iz'haar without bayaan or madd or tashdeed or hamzah or jazm or i'raab (according to) other than what You have decreed.

Or lack of longing and fear at the (time of reciting) the ayat of mercy and punishment.
So forgive us, our Lord, and write us as amongst the witnesses.

O Allah, illuminate our hearts with the Quran, and beautify our character with the Quran, and save us from the Fire with the Quran, and enter us into Jannah with the Quran.
Oh Dios, ilumina nuestros corazones con el Corán, y belleza con el Corán, y salvanos del Fuego con el Corán, y belleza con el Corán, haznos entrar en el Paraíso con el Corán.
O Allah, make the Quran for us in this world a qareen (close companion), and in the grave a mu'nis (), and upon the sirat (path) a light, and in Jannah a rafeeq (friend), and from the Fire a sitr (shield) and a hijab (barrier), and to good deeds, all of them, a daleel (evidence).

Oh Allah, hacé el Corán en este mundo un compañero cercano y en la tumba.... y en el sirat , luz, y en el paraiso, un amigo, y del Fuego, una protección y una cobertura y a las buenas semillas, evidencia.
So write for us upon the completion and grant us [adaa' bil qalbi wa al-lisaani] and love of goodness and happiness and glad tidings of faith.

Wa sallallahu ta'aalaa 'alaa khairi khalqihi Muhammad wa aalihi wa ashaabihi ajma'een wa sallama tasleeman katheeran katheeraa.
